Six months after adopting a new comprehensive plan to guide development, the Town Board has appointed a committee to amend the zoning code so it conforms with the vision of how the community should grow.
The eight-member Zoning Update Committee is to start work this summer on bringing the zoning code into line with the comprehensive plan's outline of 14 neighborhoods for this growing Northway suburban community.
``This will make the zoning conform with the master plan,'' Supervisor David R. Meager said following the Town Board's action Monday night.
