Fed: Fisheries official adds to ghostship mystery
CANBERRA, Jan 17 AAP - An Australian fisheries official today added further mysteryto the disappearance of a crew from a Taiwanese ship, saying it was not the type of vesselused by illegal fishermen.
The Australian Federal Police (AFP) are continuing to search for the crew of the HighAim 6 after it was found drifting off the West Australian coast on January 9 with fueland food on board, and a cargo of three tonnes of rotting fish.
The crew is believed to comprise a Taiwanese captain and engineer, and an unknown numberof Indonesian fishermen.
